Alex's Pure Urban E with commuting essential:
Alex decided to build a custom Pure Cycles Urban with a prototype torque sensing 500w mid drive motor and battery system. He will be testing this setup over the next few months on his commute to test this platform as a potential model.
Fitted to the bike is a 500w Torque sensing motor with a small light weight battery system.
He fitted the bike with a Road Runner Burrito Supreme Handlebar Bag, for all the essential tools, keys, and snacks.
In the rear is a Road Runner Tool/Saddle Roll for spare tube and Co2 canister.
He Has fitted a Brooks B17 Champion Narrow Saddle for ultimate comfort.
He also has a Pure Cycles Front Rack so he can carry items.
On the front rack, a 25 liters REI Dry Sack to keep my clothes nice and dry.
For illumination he has a Nite Rider Lumina 1200 Boost.
On the rear a Nite Rider Saber 80.
So far on his 16 mile commute he has used about 4Ah with the new battery system.
