Build Notes & Compatibility

The H640 is a bare hub motor — it does not include a rim, spokes, controller, display, or battery. We can lace this hub into a custom hand-built wheel — contact us for a complete wheel build quote.

For maximum performance, pair the H640 with:

• A 48V or 52V lithium battery rated for high continuous discharge (the HPC controller can pull serious current at 2000W peak)
• The HPC high-output controller — unlocks the full 2000W peak output from the H640. Stock Bafang controllers will limit you to roughly half that.
• A Bafang-compatible display (DP C181, DP C18, C961) or aftermarket eBike display
