Introduction

The Sea Otter Classic 2025 was a thrilling showcase of cycling innovation, and Hi Power Cycles (HPC) was at the heart of the action! From April 9-13 in Monterey, California, we proudly displayed our flagship HPC Trailblazer and HPC Revolution e-bikes at our booth (S415). We also partnered with industry leaders, featuring Trailblazer e-bikes at the Magura, DVO, and Bafang booths. This iconic event was the perfect stage to connect with passionate customers, share our cutting-edge technology, and demonstrate why HPC e-bikes are redefining high-performance cycling. Here’s a recap of our unforgettable experience!

Why Sea Otter 2025 Was a Game-Changer for HPC

Sea Otter is the world’s premier cycling festival, drawing enthusiasts, professionals, and brands from across the globe. For HPC, it was an opportunity to highlight our commitment to American-made craftsmanship, lightweight carbon frames, and powerful e-bike performance. Our booth buzzed with excitement as visitors experienced the Trailblazer and Revolution firsthand, while our presence at partner booths showcased the quality components that make our e-bikes stand out.

HPC Trailblazer: The Ultimate Carbon Enduro E-Bike

The HPC Trailblazer stole the show with its sleek design and unmatched performance. It is not your normal e-bike either, with double the power and torque as most other e-bikes at the show and even will blow past the new Turbo Levo 4.  Key features include:

• Lightweight Chassis: At just 51 lbs (base 750W version), it’s one of the lightest high-performance e-bikes on the market.

• DVO Suspension: Factory-tuned 160mm DVO fork and 155mm DVO Topaz rear shock for plush, responsive rides.

HPC Revolution: The Premier Freeride/DH E-Bike

The HPC Revolution brought jaw-dropping power to Sea Otter 2025, showcasing why it’s our flagship freeride/downhill e-bike. We ended up bringing our limited edition Revolution X9, in a beautiful dual stage blue powder coat.  Hand-welded in the USA, it’s designed for riders who demand the ultimate in speed and durability. Highlights include:

• Massive Power: 10kw, capable of speeds exceeding 70 mph.

• Premium Suspension: Optional factory-tuned DVO suspension with up to 9.5” rear travel and 200mm front travel for buttery-smooth performance.

• Magura MT7e Brakes: Quad-piston brakes with 203mm rotors for unrivaled stopping power.

• Schlumpf Drive: Pedal at speeds beyond 50 mph with 2.5x overdrive gearing.

• Extended Range: Up to 100 miles with its 2400Wh battery.

The Revolution’s bold design and heart-pounding performance drew crowds, with customers raving about its ability to handle the toughest trails and descents. For those the craved the utmost performance and craftsmanship, the Revolution delivers! 

One of the highlights of our year so far was being able to run the Revolution X9 on the Laguna Seca Racetrack.  It was an epic ride on on of the fastest e-bikes in the world! 

Industry Partnerships That Power Performance

Our presence extended beyond our booth, with HPC Trailblazer e-bikes featured at three partner booths:

• Magura Booth: Showcasing the Omega Trailblazer with the all new Magura Gustav Pro brakes, which offer precision stopping for high-speed trail riding. The Omega Trailblazer was featured front and center in the Magura booth! 

• DVO Booth: Highlighting the Trailblazer’s custom-tuned DVO suspension,  DVO proudly showcased the impeccable looks of our Trailblazer matched to their high end suspension. Our collaboration with DVO ensures every customer gets a pro level ride quality out of the box. 

• Bafang Booth: Featuring the Trailblazer’s Bafang M560 motor, we were proud to help Bafang represent against even the biggest industry players in the motor space! 

• Towhee: This company developed a bungee that makes towing your kids or friends safe and easy. The Trailblazer, thanks to its extra power and torque, is the perfect e-bike to tow. Towhee was proud to exhibit their Trailblazer at their booth! 

These partnerships underscore HPC’s commitment to integrating top-tier components, ensuring our e-bikes perform at the highest level.

Connecting with Our Community

Sea Otter 2025 was more than a product showcase—it was a chance to connect with our incredible community. We met countless customers who share our passion for high-performance e-bikes, from seasoned trail riders to newcomers eager to explore electric cycling. Viral Moment?

The Revolution, Trailblazer and on our "Super 69" were featured on the Instagram and Youtube channel by "wynmasters", a current pro rider with a massive following on social media. We hope in the future to collaborate for some fun e-bike videos! 

What’s Next for HPC?

Sea Otter 2025 was just the beginning! We’re already gearing up for new releases, including the HPC Maverick, a high-performance mid-drive full-suspension e-bike set to debut later this year. We also have a few more bike releases coming in the next few months so stay tuned! 

We’re also excited about the Bafang M630 motor, which will power upcoming models like the Maverick and next-generation Revolution, offering over 300 Nm of torque and quieter operation.
