Conditions
Use of Website
- This website may contain proprietary notices and copyright information, which you must observe and follow.
- The content on hpcbikes.com is compiled from various sources and is subject to change without notice. HPC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the website or its content.
- By using this website, you assume the risk that the content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not meet your needs. HPC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- HPC is not liable for any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Eligibility & Orders
- HPC reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at its sole discretion, including if we believe customer conduct violates applicable laws or harms HPC's interests.
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by HPC. We may contact you to verify order details before processing.
- Prices, products, and specifications are subject to change without notice. Any errors in pricing or product descriptions will be corrected, and HPC reserves the right to cancel orders affected by such errors.
Electronic Acceptance
For orders placed on hpcbikes.com, clicking “I Agree,” checking out, or otherwise completing an online transaction constitutes your acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
For orders placed by telephone, payment is collected during the call. By providing payment, the customer represents that they have been informed of and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which are available in full at hpcbikes.com/terms. Following payment, HPC will generate a written paid invoice and email it to the address provided by the customer. The paid invoice will prominently display a link to these Terms and Conditions and serves as written confirmation of both the transaction and the customer’s acceptance of these Terms. If the customer disputes the terms of the transaction, they must notify HPC in writing at hipowercycles@gmail.com within 48 hours of the paid invoice being emailed; failure to do so constitutes final acceptance of these Terms.
In all cases, these Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and Hi Power Cycles, LLC.
Chargeback Protection
By placing an order, you agree not to initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider unless you have first:
- Contacted HPC at hipowercycles@gmail.com with a written description of the dispute; and
- Allowed HPC a minimum of 30 days to resolve the dispute, where “resolve” means providing a refund, replacement, or written explanation of why no remedy is warranted.
A late shipment or missed shipping deadline is not grounds for a chargeback unless the shipment is more than 90 days past the stated written deadline. Any chargeback filed under these grounds will be deemed a breach of contract. In such cases, you agree to indemnify HPC for any costs, fees, or losses incurred, including reasonable legal fees and administrative costs.
HPC reserves the right to pursue legal action to recover funds and damages resulting from fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks.
Return Policy
HPC hand-builds its USA-made batteries to each individual bike, kit, or standalone order. The battery-building process takes between 2 to 6 weeks depending on complexity. Due to custom components, allow up to 2–6 weeks before shipment of standard bikes and kits. The USA-made HPC Revolution may take 4–12 weeks to ship due to custom carbon fiber and complex aluminum machining. Bikes will be shipped only after they have been paid for in full.
Non-custom individual parts and accessories that have NOT been shipped may be refunded minus a 10% restocking fee. Custom parts and accessories not listed on the website will not be refunded.
In the event of delays of 90 days or more past the timelines quoted at the time of purchase, the customer will be eligible upon request for a full refund minus the interchange transaction fee, with no further restocking fees (i.e., 6 weeks + 90 days for standard builds; 12 weeks + 90 days for complex custom/pre-order builds).
As an added service, HPC may at its discretion offer to sell a new or used HPC bike or kit on consignment.
- Not yet shipped: HPC will market and attempt to sell the bike or kit. The customer receives the sale price (gross amount received from buyer) minus a 20% commission upon sale.
- Already shipped: HPC will inspect the bike or kit. If deemed sellable, HPC will market and attempt to sell it. The customer receives the sale price minus a 25% commission. Cost of any replacement parts due to physical damage or non-warranty defects will be deducted prior to calculating net payout.
HPC offers no guarantee as to timelines for completing a consignment sale. All consignment sales are final.
As an alternative to standard consignment, HPC offers an Upgrade Path for customers who wish to apply the value of their current bike toward a new HPC purchase. Under this program, HPC will sell the customer’s existing bike on their behalf on a 90/10 split — the customer receives 90% of the sale price and HPC retains 10% as a commission. The full 90% proceeds must be applied toward the purchase of a new HPC bike and cannot be taken as a cash payout.
- The bike must be inspected and deemed in sellable condition by HPC prior to listing. Any parts required to bring the bike to sellable condition will be deducted from the sale proceeds before the 90/10 split is calculated.
- The 90% credit is non-transferable and must be used toward a new HPC bike purchase. It has no cash value and cannot be applied to accessories, parts, or services alone.
- The new bike purchase must have a total order value equal to or greater than the net credit received (i.e., 90% of the consignment sale price). For example, if your bike sells for $5,000, your new purchase must be a minimum order value of $4,500 or more. Orders below the credit amount are not eligible for the Upgrade Path Program.
- HPC offers no guarantee as to the timeline for completing the sale. The Upgrade Path credit will be issued upon completion of the sale.
- All other consignment terms apply, including HPC’s right to work with the customer on pricing strategy to facilitate an expedient sale.
- Customers participating in the Upgrade Path Program receive priority placement in HPC’s consignment queue. Their bike will be actively marketed ahead of standard consignment listings, giving Upgrade Path customers the best chance of a faster sale.
Storage Policy
For bikes dropped off at HPC or converted by HPC that are not picked up within two weeks of the agreed-upon pick-up date, HPC will charge a storage fee of $15 per day, unless prior arrangements have been made in writing.

Use of Products & Assumption of Risk
In California, as of July 14, 2025, all e-bikes that can exceed 28 MPH and are not fully factory-locked to either 20 MPH (with throttle) or 28 MPH (pedal-assist only) must be classified as an “Off-Road” vehicle. Such bikes are permitted only on private property or designated OHV riding areas. Customers are responsible for verifying and complying with all current regulations in their jurisdiction.
Misuse of high-powered kits or bikes can lead to serious injury or death. The purchaser fully understands that electric bike riding is an inherently dangerous activity and accepts all risks associated with such use.
HPC’s most powerful systems (3,000W or higher) are not designed to sustain top speeds for extended periods. Sustained high-speed operation is outside HPC’s manufacturing specifications and is done entirely at the user’s risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HPC DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING FROM THE USE OF ITS PRODUCTS. Nothing in these Terms limits HPC’s liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct as required by California law.
Please ride safely, within the scope of the law, and ALWAYS wear a helmet.
