HPC's New Revolution Kickstand: A Bolt-On Stand for Hub-Motor Builds
HPC just gave hub-motor Revolution owners something they've been asking for: an actual kickstand that mounts directly to the bike itself. This isn't a freestanding unit you roll the bike into — it's hardware that lives on the Revolution and flips down right off the frame, connecting to the ICGS mount built into every hub-motor Revolution. It's a small addition, but if you've ever had to lean a 90+ lb e-bike against a wall or ask a friend to hold it steady while you dig for your keys, you know exactly why we finally built it.
What Is the Revolution Kickstand?
Unlike our Trailblazer and Revolution Moto Style Center Stands — freestanding units you roll the bike into for parking or maintenance — this new kickstand attaches permanently to the bike at the ICGS mount point. Flip it down to park the bike upright on its own, flip it back up out of the way to ride.

The kickstand is now offered as an option when you order a new Revolution. If you already own a hub-motor Revolution, it can be retrofitted too — but because it mounts directly to the ICGS point on the frame, that install has to be done in our Simi Valley shop rather than shipped out as a bolt-it-yourself kit.

Our Honest Take: When to Use It (and When Not To)
We'll be straight with you, the same way we were with our own followers when we announced it: we don't recommend running a kickstand on a Revolution if you're doing anything beyond light off-road riding. A stand mounted low on the frame adds ground clearance concerns and an extra point of contact that aggressive trail, enduro, or downhill riding just doesn't need.
Where the Revolution kickstand shines is exactly what it was designed for — pavement, driveways, garages, trailheads, and general day-to-day parking. If you're mostly cruising, commuting, or doing mellow trail days and you're tired of leaning your Revolution against whatever's nearby, this is built for you.
