It's the electronic shifting e-bike upgrade kit our customers have been asking for all year, and it takes the 775 MX from one gear to a true five-speed with wireless shifting.

Why a multi-speed transmission changes everything

Mid-drive motors are most efficient in a specific RPM band. With only one gear, you force the motor to work outside that band most of the time — wasting energy on climbs and running out of legs at speed. A proper 5-speed spread lets you climb harder, cruise faster, and keep the motor in its efficient sweet spot. The payoff is a more intuitive ride and noticeably more range from the same battery.

Wireless electronic shifting, no cable headaches

The kit uses a custom-programmed OX 5-speed wireless shifter and derailleur. There are no cables to route or tune — just clean, precise, repeatable shifts at the press of a button, with a strong clutch for excellent chain retention over rough MX terrain.

Built in-house, proven on the HPC Revolution MX

This isn't an experimental package. The 5-speed electronic-shift setup is a direct evolution of the drivetrain we've refined and shipped on our own HPC Revolution MX — battle-tested and dialed in. The rear wheel is hand-built in our Simi Valley shop on a WTB i35 rim laced to an HPC custom 148×12 Boost hub with a steel driver, using Sapim 12-gauge spokes we cold-roll and cut ourselves. It's stronger and truer than any off-the-shelf wheel.
