Next Generation Big Block Power!

We just got our hands on the next generation of Big Block Mid Drive Power! For the past 6 or so years our M620 Ultra motor from Bafang has served as the powerhouse in our lineup powering our Scout and Titan 3000W power systems and allowing speeds up to 40-45 MPH with towering torque beyond 240Nm. New in town is the ALL NEW from the ground up M630 motor. Featuring lightweight construction, this all new motor comes in bare motor and controller at 15 lbs, 3.8 oz.
The main motor shell of the M630 is 139.5mm compared to 114mm on the M620 ULTRA motor, so the whole unit is at least 1 inch wider overall! The M630 has potential to be an absolute game changer, and we expect to offer versions with well over 300Nm of torque!
1. Maximum Power and Massive Torque The older M620 Ultra delivers impressive torque, around 160Nm from the factory at base power, while the all new M630 achieves a much higher 230Nm maximum output. Average output torque is said to be 56% higher. We are extremely excited at the prospects of this motor, and fully expect 4kW, and possibly 5kW versions of this lightweight beast of a motor to power our future super e-bikes.
2. Improved Heat Dissipation One of the standout upgrades in the M630 is its superior thermal management. The motor features advanced cooling mechanisms that prevent overheating during extended climbs or intense rides. This means more consistent performance and a longer lifespan compared to the M620 Ultra. Heat sinks are taller and wider on the M630, and we expect much better thermal management characteristics.
3. Refined Pedal Assist and Responsiveness The M630 takes pedal assist to the next level with improved sensor integration, offering smoother power delivery and a more intuitive riding experience. Riders will notice less lag and more immediate response when they apply pressure to the pedals, making steep climbs and quick accelerations feel seamless.
4. Quieter Operation Bafang has also reduced noise levels with the M630, creating a quieter ride without sacrificing performance. Compared to the M620 Ultra, the M630 operates with less mechanical noise, making for a more enjoyable and peaceful journey.
5. New HPC E-Bike Integration The first three all new ebikes that we are building towards integration of the M630 motor is the new ultra heavy duty, Military bound M.P.U.V. It is a high strength beast of a work/utility e-bike that can haul, tow and do anything the user asks of it. Next, the new Maverick will have a fat or plus tire version that will be made for the M630 motor as a long travel, full suspension performance oriented enduro. Could 50 MPH performance be a thing for a lightweight mid drive motor? Finally, next generation Revolution will debut a integrated torque sensing version that will offer this M630 motor, offering more than 150 mile range and more than 4,000W and more than 300Nm of torque!
